It’s a picture-postcard view between the Loreley and Bingen - of Hildegarde fame - but it's also the spot at which Blücher took his Prussian troops across the Rhine before Waterloo.

I love that whole route--and never get anything done, because I'm too busy looking at the castles. :) I once went by when they had re-enactors in uniform, with heavy wooden rowboats. Would October be right for Blücher?
